Death toll rises to 74 from Damascus bombing of Shiite pilgrims

The death toll from a double bomb attack targeting Shiites visiting a pilgrimage site in Damascus has climbed to 74, mostly Iraqi Shiite pilgrims visiting a cemetery near the Old City. There has been no claim of responsibility. Sunday night, an  al-Qaida-linked alliance claimed responsibility for the blasts.
