DEBKAfile: Iran’s president says Turkish army must leave Afrin

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and his Turkish counterpart Tayiip Erdogan exchanged sharp words at their joint summit with President Vladimir Putin in Istanbul on Wednesday. DEBKAfile’s exclusive sources report that the argument broke out when Rouhani demanded that Erdogan order Turkish troops to quit Afrin in northern Syria immediately and hand the enclave over to the Syrian government army. He accused the Turkish leader of an “illegal invasion of Syria.” Our sources report that Putin tried to calm his two angry allies without success.

President Putin has allies which have irreconcilable differences and agendas with Turkey 65% Sunni and Iran 90%+ Shia. The Centuries long War is still going on. Good Luck ending it President Putin!

Maybe. Yet having Iran helping to clean up efforts on Afrin helps. Less for the yanks to do.

      the gentlemen they are.
And may there be a photo-finish
With their homelands with no brick

I think that we, the USA, should support the Kurds because they led the fight against ISIS; and also our presence there will temper Iran’s evil designs against Israel.

Incite more hatred between all colors of mudslime the more the mudslime deals with itself the better for us. Be sure that they hate each other and keep them weak but balanced.
