Dozens of US elite troops fighting with Turkish army in M. Syria

The US has deployed 40 special-operations troops to work for the first time alongside Turkish forces and “vetted” Syrian rebels fighting Islamic State in northern Syria, the Pentagon disclosed. The joint mission will take the forces east toward the northern Syrian town of Dabiq, a strategically important ISIS stronghold.
