Egypt takes delivery of three more French ‘Rafale’ fighters
Egypt's Defense Ministry said that the country's air force on Wednesday received three more Rafale warplanes as part of the $5.6 billion arms deal signed with France in 2015. Cairo has now taken delivery of a Mistral-class warship, two FREMM frigates and nine out of the 24 fighters included in the deal. As part of a separate agreement, the Egyptian navy took delivery of a German submarine in 2016 and will receive another one this summer.
