Egypt, UK and France in joint naval drills on Red and Mediterranean Seas

The maritime war games conducted jointly by the Egypt, UK and French navies focused on “modern techniques to detect and handle sea mines, practicing countering terrorist threats on the high seas and inspections of suspected ships.” Announcing the drills on the Red Sea and Mediterranean Sea on Monday, the Egyptian General Command omitted to name any sources of threats, including Iran or its proxies.
