Egyptian forces secure French Cairo embassy against Islamist protest

Salafist and other extreme Islamist movements called on the faithful to march on the French mission in Cairo Friday in protest against the “colonial” move by France to send troops to Mali. Egyptian security forces were deployed at the embassy in advance.
