Egyptian general assassinated by terrorists in Sinai

A senior Egyptian officer was shot dead by Islamic terrorists on Wednesday in the Sinai Peninsula, with the Egyptian branch of ISIS claiming responsibility for the attack. General Khaled Kamal Osman was inspecting members of a police unit in the provincial capital of El-Arish when the gunmen opened fire from a passing car, Egypt’s Interior Ministry said.
