Egyptian military: 29 dead in pro-Morsi rally in Cairo
The Moslem Brotherhood claims more than 75 dead and 1,000 injured by live fire early Saturday, July 27 as their supporters rallied around Rabaa al-Adawiya mosque in Nasser City. The Egyptian health department later released the figures of 29 dead and 650 injured. Earlier, the interior minister spoke of determination to restore order to the streets of Cairo after the two massive rival demonstrations Friday night. The military claim millions rallied in support of the army in Tahrir Square. Unexplained explosions were heard in Eilat from Sinai. Seven people were killed in clashes between rival demonstrations in Alexandria Friday.
