Egyptian security forces kill 11 terrorists in Ismailia

Eleven terrorists were killed on Tuesday in a shootout with Egyptian security forces in Ismailia on the bank of the Suez Canal. They were running a smuggling route for weapons, ammunition and communications equipment for terrorist groups operating in northern Sinai.  The interior ministry in Cairo said that weapons, ammunition and communications instrument were recovered and a number of arrests made.
DEBKAfile adds: Egyptian security forces tailed the arms smuggling convoy when it crossed in from Libya and intercepted it at Ismailia before its contraband freight could reach Sinai for another round of attacks by ISIS Sinai branch. On Friday, its members carried out the deadliest attack in modern Egyptian history at a Sufi mosque in northern Sinai, killing 305 people.

They should have tracked it to it’s destination and then killed them and the recipients.
