Egyptian troops seize Cairo mosque where protesters barricaded
After exchanging fire for some hours, Egyptian troops and police using tear gas and lie bullets stormed the Al Fath mosque on Ramses Sq., Saturday. They cleared most of the building of the hundreds of protesters holed up there, although a few are still resisting eviction. Some escaped earlier. Others were arrested and attacked in police custody by hostile crowds. The Brotherhood's protest action had been focused on Ramses Sq. since Friday night.
