Egyptian troops to Bahrain and UAE for Gulf war games
Egyptian naval, air, special options and infantry units were flown to the Gulf Saturday to take part in two military exercises – one by the Bahrain armed forces, dubbed king Hamed 2, and the other in the United Arab Emirate, named Zayed 2 after the Crown Prince. They are practicing counter-terror operations and the handling of roadside bombs. There is no word on the length of those exercises,or how long Egyptian forces will remain away from home.
