Egypt’s deposed president Morsi drops dead in court

Mohammed Morsi, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, was elected president of Egypt in 2012 after Hosni Mubarak was forced out of office by an uprising. Morsi was deposed by the military after mass protests against his rule and succeeded by the incumbent Gen.  Abdel-Fatteh Sisi. Morsi has faced several trials for treason. A maximum alert was declared across Egypt by the Interior Ministry after Morsi’s death was announced.. The Muslim Brotherhood accuse Sisi of complicity in his’s death. Turkish President Reccep Erdogan has called him a “shahid” (holy martyr)
