An Egyptian army spokesman announced Thursday evening that Abu Osama Al Masri, leader of the Ansar Beit Al Makdis terrorist organization, was killed in an airstrike by Egyptian air force planes on a facility in the city of El Arish. The announcement said dozens of other members of the group were killed as well. The spokesman released two low-resolution aerial photographs said to show the facility before and after the airstrike.
