El-Sisi: We are not going to war with Sudan or Ethiopia

President Abdel-Fatteh El-Sisis Tuesday denied reports that the Egyptian army was building up for war with Ethiopia and Sudan. “We are not prepared to go to war against our brethren or anyone else for that matter. I am saying this as a clear message to our brothers in Sudan and Ethiopia,” he said. DEBKAfile: It has been recently reported that all three had placed military units on their share borders on a war footing. Cairo is fuming over the military pacts Sudan has just signed for leasing to the Turkish navy a Red Sea island base near the Saudi and Egyptian shores; and furious with Ethiopia for pressing ahead with building a big dam at the sources of the Blue Nile and the White Nile, that will reduce the flow of water to Egypt.

Someone at Debka needs to brush up on their geography. What shared border of Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia?

You need to brush up on your Geo Politics.
Egypt is very close to going to war with Ethiopia. Which is very nearly finished building the worlds largest Dam project, on the source of the Nile. Funded and largely built by China.
This will have catastrophic consequences for Egypt. Egypt, like it has been for over 5,000 years, is entirely dependant on the Nile, for everything, water, electricity, etc. Without the Nile 80 million egyptians die.
Want to see the next big war? Here it is, Egypt v Ethiopia.
This statement is just more proof that its getting closer not further away.

I don’t disagree with any of your points. My criticism was on the description of a shared border between the 3, which doesn’t exist.

TexasDave has long studied Bible prophecy independently. Ezekiel 29:8-13 tells us that the sword is to be brought upon Egypt and the Nile river will be dried-up such that Egypt is left desolate. Man or beast do not pass through it for 40 years. READ IT. This has not happened in recorded history so this is a future event. Given that Zechariah 14:16-19 tells us that Egypt will be required to go to Jerusalem yearly to worship Jesus after his return and keep the Feast of Tabernacles, then it stands to reason that the Egyptians must necessarily have *returned* to Egypt to do so.
Only now is the Nile in the process of being dried-up with the help of this Ethiopian dam.
Here is the important take-away: The return of Jesus is at least 40+ years into the future. I have never heard any prophecy teachers teach this. This is the first-time I have publicly disclosed this. You heard it here first. 16 Jan 2018. TexasDave.

TexasDave – I have read that this took place prior to the Chaldean period as Egypt never gained its height of power during this period. 40 has been noted by scholars as not being a round number nor a long time and thus indicative of a time of punishment and penitence of a generation rather than an exact period of time per se. I think that the fact that vs 11 notes that man or beast would not pass through it for 40 years (which as one notes in the link, would be very difficult to achieve in its entirety), it should be read to mean that the land of egypt would lie desolate for a generation…something that has been considered to have taken place a few times in history.

Interesting but Daniel also predicted that the antichrist would overrun Egypt and I wouldn’t be surprised if he uses atomic weapons which would explain an Egyptian diaspora. I wouldn’t bank on 40 more years the way things are going. Iran looks set to fulfill Ezekiel 38

Dwelling without a wall, and they have no bars or doors? Rubbish!

    EZEKIEL 38 11

And you will say, “I shall ascend upon a land of open cities; I shall come upon the tranquil, who dwell securely; all of them living without a wall, and they have no bars or doors.

quietude and trust is your might?

    go to hell..

    YESHAYA 28:

    14. Therefore, listen to the word of the Lord, men of scorn, allegorists of this people who are in Jerusalem.

    15. For you said, “We have made a treaty with death, and with the grave we have set a limit; when an overflowing scourge passes, it shall not come upon us, for we have made lies our shelter and in falsehood have we hidden ourselves.

… hail shall sweep away the shelter of lies, and water shall flood the hidingplace.

    18. … when an overflowing scourge passes, you shall be trampled by it.

    21. For like the mountain of breaches shall the Lord arise, like the valley in Gibeon He shall be incensed; to perform His deed, strange is His deed, and to perform His work, strange is His work.

    22. And now, do not scorn, lest your pains become strong, [b]for a complete destruction have I heard from the Lord God of Hosts upon the entire land.

    Yeshaya 30

    8. Now, come write it on a tablet with them, and on a book engrave it, and it shall be for the last day, forever to eternity.

    12. Therefore, so said the Holy One of Israel, “Because you have despised this matter, and you have put your trust in oppression and a perverse one, and you have relied upon it.

    13. Therefore, this iniquity shall be to you as a breach of a falling [wall], revealed in a fortified wall, whose breach will come suddenly.”

    14. And He shall break it like the breaking of a potter’s jug, crushed without pity, and in its crushing shall not be found a shard, to scoop fire from a hearth, or to scoop water from a cistern.

Yeshaya 45:9 ” … … Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth.

    15. For so said the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel “With tranquility and restfulness shall you be saved, with quietude and trust shall be your might; but you did not want.

I find it interesting when persons refer to the Bible but don’t fully believe the Word of God. I suspect the basis for the disbelief is not having a proper Fear of the Lord. If any of you are still alive in 40 years and Jesus has yet to return, then remember God’s words that I have brought to your attention only yesterday. Seek the Lord and obtain wisdom. Peace to you all.

What the hell is wrong with you all? This is a forum that discusses modern conflicts. Why does it devolve into a biblical discussion forum. Can’t you keep that nonsense in church? seriously, this is getting very old very fast.
