Erdogan asks Putin for air force coordination to help his Afrin operation

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan put in a call to Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Thursday to try and reach an understanding with the Russian president on coordination between their air and air defense forces in Syria. The Turkish air force has been held back from providing the slow-moving anti-Kurdish operation in Afrin with adequate support for fear of encountering Russian air defense missiles. Results of the conversation were not revealed. Two days earlier, the Russians moved air defense weapons into the Aleppo and Idlib regions, following which a Syrian military spokesman noted that all of northern Syria was now under an anti-air missile shield.
The coming DEBKA Weekly out on Friday, Feb. 9, offers an exclusive military analysis of the state of the Turkish operation in northern Syria. Subscribe now.

Incorrect analysis. Erdogan called Vladimir Putin to get fruther instructions; when to start to attack the US forces, before N.Korea, Iran, or after.

      Incorrect analysis.
Turkey is a neighbor, but the US is geopolitical partner. Why does anyone why has a little bit of brain in the skull will make a war to a neighbor??
Remember what happened after jet was shot? Turkey kicked out the nukes of the US, closed military base, kicked out the Germany airforce.
So, Russia gave up a little figure, to strike a bigger. Erdogan called VLADIMIR Putin to get instructions when to attack the US forces, before N.Korea, Iran,
