Erdogan says he has proof US supports terror groups
Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said Tuesday he has evidence that US-led coalition forces give support to terrorist groups including the Islamic State and Kurdish militant groups YPG and PYD. He told a press conference in Ankara: “They were accusing us of supporting Daesh (Islamic State). Now they give support to terrorist groups including Daesh, YPG, PYD. We have confirmed evidence, with pictures, photos and videos," he said.
Erdogan's anger is mainly due to the fact that Turkey's large and professional military is not only unable to defeat ISIS in its first direct combat against the terrorist organization, but is also suffering heavy casualties that have already reached more than 90 killed and several hundred wounded.
