Europe joins US federal authority in lifting ban on flights to Israel

European Aviation Safety Agency Thursday followed the US Federation Aviation Administration in lifting their temporary ban on passenger flights to Israel, imposed after a Hamas rocket strike not far from Ben Gurion airport  runways Tuesday.  The decision which caused chaos to international travel to and from Israel and left tens of travelers stranded was condemned by many Americans as “a prize to terror” and an “air blockade” against Israel.
