Ex-PM Olmert to be incarcerated in special wing for white-collar criminals

As a former premier with knowledge of state secrets, Ehud Olmert, whose conviction was upheld on Tuesday by Israel's Supreme Court, will be separated from the general prison population for security reasons. He will be incarcerated on February 15 at the Maasiyahu Prison in Ramle within a special wing for up to 20 high profile white-collar criminals that Israel’s prison service started preparing several months ago with Olmert in mind.
