Ex-student kills at least 17 people in Florida high school

A gunman identified as 19-year old former student Nikolas Cruz armed with a semiautomatic rifle killed at least 17 people at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Wednesday. Another 17 wounded were in local hospitals. Cruz, who is in custody, was expelled from the school over disciplinary problems. Students and teachers barricaded in classrooms and hid under desks while he stalked through the school firing off shots from an AR-15. One of the 17 victims was shot in the street, 12 inside the school and two died of their wounds at the hospital. Five of the victims remain unidentified.  At least four Jewish high school students are known to be among the wounded.  Local synagogues are organizing healing prayer services for students and parents.

“congress” can’t fix what’s broken in our hearts, only God can. We’ve taken God out of our lives and are left only with hate.
