Exchange of fire between Gaza Palestinians and IDF
Israeli tanks pounded a Hamas target in response to gunfire from northern Gaza on Thursday against an IDF position near Nahal Oz. No one was hurt. The Palestinians opened fire shortly after PM/Defense Minister Binyamin Netanyahu toured the region with Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi and conversed with officers and men on the spot. Asked about Israel’s response to the daily explosive balloon attacks, Netanyahu replied: “Every instance of Hamas aggression will be greeted with a more powerful response by the IDF.”
