Exclusive: Abbas ready to reject the US peace framework

DEBKAfile’s exclusive Washington sources disclose that Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has given Secretary of State John Kerry to understand that, when he visits Ramallah later this week to present the US framework accord with Israel, he will be rebuffed by the Palestinian side. They will tell him to first refer the plan to a pan-Arab forum and only if it is approved, present it to the Palestinians for their consideration.
