Exclusive: Syria empties its air bases, Hizballah withdraws to Lebanon

By Friday night, the Syrian air force had finished evacuating its air bases in readiness for a US led operation, DEBKAfile’s exclusive military sources report. The Mig-29 and Sokhoi 24 air squadrons, Syria’s main air strike force, were moved to Bassel Assad International airport in Latkia and Damascus international airport. Fighter-bomber planes and helicopters were removed to the Nayrab air base outside Aleppo. All three airfields are guarded by Russian and Syrian air defense missile systems. Also Friday, Hizballah began pulling its combatants out of Syria and returning them to their bases in Lebanon – not just to keep them safe from a US raid, but to have them in position in case of a clash with Israel in Lebanon..

Rebels and Kurds; go and besiege those bases, where they went to hide and waiting for the US’s strikes on these bases.

Actually, Hizballah going home to be ready in case of a clash with Israel might not be good news, if you look also to recent Iranian declarations.
It will be suicidal for Iran to attack Israel, yes.
And the last time Hizballah had something to say or some sort of a force to be.
But, a war means loses for both sides!
      We shall see.

‘a man flees from the lion and the bear meets him, and he comes to the house and leans his hand on the wall, and a serpent bites him.’

        R. Johanan said likewise: Let him come, and let me not see him. Resh Lakish said to him: Why so? Shall we say, because it is written, As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him,’ or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him?12 But come, and I will shew you its like even in this world. When one goes out into the field and meets a bailiff,13 it is as though he had met a lion. When he enters the town, and is accosted by a tax-collector, it is as though he had met a bear. On entering his house and finding his sons and daughters in the throes of hunger, it is as though he were bitten by a serpent!

For behold, I am sending you serpents, adders which cannot be charmed, and they shall bite you, says the Lord.

If Hezbollah goes back to Lebanon and Iran retreats to its bases, then they both have open flanks and are vulnerable to attack. Neither can support the other.

There is only one item left, that should have been bombed a while ago: Assad’s presidential palace complex. Most likely he already fled to Teheran – and once there is no place for him to return in Syria, his murderous game would be vastly more difficult, if not impossible. It would also be a loud slap in the face for Putin and co.

I dare say those warriors exposed by these events are not pumping their chests. Russia most likely withdrew to defensive positions in order to execute the threat to return fire. We all should be Very afraid. Left unsaid to date is the US will throw all they have on Russian forces in the region if attacked.

Russia should give up Assad and the US should allow Syria and Russia to decide what comes next. Trump was right before all this happened, get out of Syria it’s not important to the US.

Syria being divided into zones. Usual suspects Conflict will ease when combatants have what
is needed. Not what they want. Chemical weapons are propaganda. We are seeing a re shuffle
    of combat assets.
