Small US embassy explosion in Beijing caused by one man

The US State Department attributed a small blast Thursday in a corner of the US embassy compound in Beijing to a 26-year old Chinese man from Inner Mongolia. He set off a small, homemade explosive and hurt no one but himself, before being taken into custody.
