Face masks are back in schools of two towns
Schools in Modi’in (between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv) and Binyamina on Mt Carmel last week saw dozens of new cases of coronavirus, mostly sourced to adults returning from overseas trips. Some had been vaccinated. The infection is identified as the “Indian variant.” The Health ministry has ordered the return of face masks in all schools in the two towns, after exemptions for the rest of the country were issued last week, and advised everyone to avoiding non-essential foreign travel.
