Families of fallen IDF soldiers Shaul, Goldin protest agreement with Ankara

The parents of the late IDF Staff Sgt. Oron Shaul, who has been designated as a fallen soldier whose place of burial is unknown, will set up a protest tent on Sunday across from the home of Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem, demanding that Israel not sign a reconciliation agreement with Turkey unless the deal includes the return of their son by Hamas.
The parents of the late IDF Lieut. Hadar Goldin issued a similar demand on Saturday night, saying the signing of the agreement is "a prize for Hamas for the kidnapping of Lieut. Hadar Goldin and Staff Sgt. Oron Shaul."
Both Shaul and Goldin fell during Operation Protective Edge against Hamas in 2014.
Relatives of Avera Mengistu, an Israeli who crossed the border into Gaza in September of that year and whose fate remains unknown, will also demonstrate across from the prime minister's home.
