In an interview with the Palestinian Authority's television station, he said that Palestinians are capable of bombing Israeli buses but have chosen not do do so since it would benefiit Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu, as global public opinion would be against the bombing of buses in Tel Aviv. However, he claimed, the killing of Israeli soldiers and of settlers in the West Bank would be understood.
Meanwhile, DEBKAfile reports that Israeli security officials are looking into the possibility that Sunday's attack in Beersheba was carried out by a terror movement that was established recently in the Gaza Strip by Hezbollah and Iran.
