FBI probes massive bomb blast in Nashville on Christmas morning, At least 3 injured

Authorities believe a massive explosion that rocked downtown Nashville, Tennessee early on Christmas Day was an “intentional act,” says the Metro Nashville Police Department. Police earlier said it was caused by a car bomb. Three people were injured, albeit none in critical condition. The explosion devastated buildings on a street of restaurants and shops known as the heart of downtown Nashville’s tourist scene. It occurred as emergency crews reached downtown Nashville, alerted by reports of gunfire and a suspicious vehicle. They were in time to clear the street of people. A witness reported seeing a man parking the car there and walking away. A police briefing is awaited.
