FDA formally approves Moderna covid vaccine

The FDA formally endorsed the Moderna covid vaccine for emergency use after its panel’s unanimous approval. This is the second coronavirus vaccine to be cleared by the US Food and Drug Administration after Pfizer’s, which uses the same technology. Both were approved for use in adults of 18 and over.
