Final day of defense testimony begins at trial of IDF Sgt. Azaria

The last day of defense testimony at the trial of IDF Sgt. Elor Azaria, who is charged with manslaughter over the killing of a subdued terrorist in Hebron, began on Thursday at a military court in Jaffa. An IDF officer who serves as head of security for the Jewish community in Hebron testified that during the incident in March he saw that the terrorist was alive and moving before being shot by Azaria, and that there was definite concern on the scene that the terrorist was carrying a bomb.
