First Air India flight to Israel over Saudi Arabia

The first Air India flight from Delhi to Israel to cross through Saudi air space landed at Ben Gurion airport Thursday night. It was also Air India’s first flight to Israel.  Among the 260 passengers was the Israel Foreign Ministry’s director general Yuval Rotem, who commented that the plane’s flight path testified to the sweeping changes overtaking  the Middle East.
