First funerals for victims of the Pittsburgh synagogue massacre

David Rosenthal, 54, and his brother Cecil Rosenthal, 59, will be laid to rest on Tuesday in the first funerals for the 11 victims of the Pittsburgh Tree of Life Synagogue massacre. Two of the six injured are in critical condition. President Donald Trump and the first lady Melania will visit the city during the day to “express the support of the American people and grieve with the Pittsburgh community.” The killer, Robert Bowers, appeared in court on Monday shackled to a wheelchair. He faces 29 criminal charges, some of which carry the death sentence, for the worst anti-Semitic attack in US history
