First Lieberman meeting with US Defense Secretary Mattis

Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman met for the first time Friday with US Defense Secretary Gen. James Mattis on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference. They discussed Iran and agreed to continue their discussion on matters concerning both their national interests. He is scheduled to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov Saturday.
Lieberman is to address the conference Sunday on Middle East security issues, followed by the defense ministers of Saudi Arabia and Turkey. He also expects to meet with the defense ministers of the UK, Germany, Canada and Singapore.
