Second shooting attack in E. Jerusalem injures two men at Ir David (Siluan)

An armed Israeli civilian shot dead a Palestinian gunman after he injured two civilians at Ir David (Siluan) at the foot of Temple Mountin – the second shooting attack in East Jerusalem in 24 hours. The injured men, one in serious condition, were moved to hospital as a massive police force moved in. Friday night, a Palestinian gunman from Shoafat  murdered seven Israelis at a synagogue in Neve Yacov, the next-door Jewish suburb. Reinforced police backed by military units are on guard lest the two attacks signal a new wave of Palestinian terror.
