First report: A man shot dead at Orly airport snatching a soldier’s weapon

A man was shot and killed at Orly airport in Paris while snatching a soldier’s weapon Saturday.  The incident occurred near the check-in desk for travelers to Israel. Extra security forces rushed to the scene declared a terror alert at the big airport. Incoming and outgoing flights were halted, the passenger terminal was cleared and blocked to travelers. In a separate attack a police officer was shot and injured at a road check north of Paris.The attacker escaped in a car and is still on the run.  Police are investigating whether this incident is tied to the event at Orly as part of the same terrorist conspiracy.
