First survivors dug out of rubble from Tel Aviv construction site disaster

So far, 18 casualties have been counted from the disaster Sunday at the construction site of an underground parking facility on Habarzel Street, in southern Tel Aviv‘s Ramat Hahayal. Two survivors have been dug out of the rubble and an unknown number still remains trapped. Oxygen has been sent down below. None of the survivors have suffered life-threatening injuries. The rescue teams dug initially with their hands for fear of another collapse, before heavy equipment was brought in.
