Five dead in explosions at Iranian culture center in Beirut
At least 5 people were killed and 80 injured Wednesday by two suicide bombers who attacked the Iranian Culture Center in the southern Beirut Bir Hassan district Wednesday. The Al Qaeda-affiliated Abdullah al Azzam Brigades claimed responsibility. The first attacker at the wheel of a car and the second on a motorbike blew themselves up at the entrance to the center. The Iranian Embassy said there were "no severe injuries among the diplomats and the staff at the cultural center.”
