Five Egyptian policemen killed in ISIS attack on El Arish checkpoint

The Egyptian interior ministry said Thursday that five policemen were killed and three were injured when a group of fighters from the ISIS affiliate in the Sinai attacked a checkpoint manned by Egyptian security forces in the center of El Arish in the northern Sinai on Wednesday night. The fighters opened fire while passing through the checkpoint in a stolen Egyptian military vehicle, and then fled.
