Five Grads fired by Salafists from Gaza-Egyptian border
One of the five damaged a greenhouse, the others exploded on open ground across the Eshkol-Shalom districts. The IDF first thought the missiles came from Egyptian Sinai, but later located the source as Dehaniya in the southern Gaza Strip, an area abutting the Egyptian-Gaza-Israel border intersection which is controlled by Salafi groups.
DEBKAfile predicted Monday that the truce negotiated by Egypt would be short-lived because the Salafis refused to join and are well supplied with Grad missiles smuggled through tunnels running across the Egyptian side of the border and by the Palestinian Jhad Islami.
