Five Israelis injured in resumed Palestinian rocket fire Sunday
Three of the four Israelis injured by Palestinian rocket fire in its second day Sunday were residents of Ashkelon. A 22-year old man was rushed to hospital in critical condition, while two others suffered serious and moderate wounds. The local hospital took a direct hit to its oncology unit, but no one was hurt. In Sderot, a woman was seriously wounded when a rocket launched from Gaza landed near her vehicle. Another woman of 80 was badly hurt by an exploding rocket at the Hof Ashkelon council. Rocket sirens were also heard in Rehovot, Beersheba and Negev communities.
