FM Lieberman strongly denies alleged Israeli spying on the US

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Wednesday that Israel does not spy on the US – directly or indirectly. Israeli officials joined in condemning as “outrageous” a Newsweek report citing US officials as saying in private conversation that “Israel crosses the line for espionage in the United States.”  DEBKAfile: The report was published the day before National Security Adviser Susan Hill was due in Israel to promote the forthcoming nuclear deal with Iran with Israel’s leaders.
