Forcible feeding of prisoners on hunger strike permitted by new law

The Prisons Commissioner is empowered under this law to ask the district court for a permit to administer medical treatment. This applies to the hundreds of Palestinian prisoners on prolonged hunger strike for some weeks. Some are hospitalized.
