Foreign advisers helping Nairobi mall forensic search
Kenya’s cabinet secretary reported Wednesday that US, Israeli, British, Canadian and German experts are assisting in the forensic investigation in the ravaged Westglade shopping mall collecting ballistic, DNA, fingerprint and other data. He said this information was vital to determine the identities and nationalities of the dead terrorists and also of their victims. The number of dead hostages and missing people has still not been established. Results of the probe will take not less than seven days. He said that five attackers were killed and 10 taken into custody, but could not specify their total number.
