Foreign Ministry: 30 Israelis out of contact after Barcelona attack
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu visited the Foreign Ministry crisis center and contacted the Israeli embassy in Spain. He is being updated on the situation. The Israeli consul is on his way from Madrid to render aid if needed. Hundreds of Israelis are visiting Barcelona. The Foreign Ministry reports that 30 are out of contact. Many tourists are trying to shorten their visits and return home. Jewish institutions in Barcelona were told by the police to close their doors and were provided with additional security.
