Former FBI chief: No comment on alleged Trump links to Russia
While responding to questions at a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing on Thursday, ex-FBI director James Comey on Thursday declined to comment on whether he was aware of any previously undisclosed meetings between the Trump campaign and Russian officials, on whether there were encrypted communications between the two sides, or whether related documents were destroyed. He also said he could not answer whether he thought Russia had information that could be used to blackmail Trump administration officials. Comey was to continue answering questions at a closed hearing in the afternoon.
