Former President Shimon Peres stable after a quiet night
The Sheba Medical Center director, Prof. Itzik Kreis, reported Wednesday morning that the condition of former president Shimon Peres remained serious though stable after a quiet night. He suffered a stroke Tuesday and was sedated and put on a respirator in the hospital. His personal physician Prof. Walden said in the morning that he had responded to his environment, but it was decided nonetheless to continue to sedate him.
