Four American B-52 long-range bombers land in Britain

The B-52, known also as the Stratofortress, a long-range heavy bomber that can carry nuclear or precision guided convention weapons, landed in Britain on Friday “as part of a long-planned Bomber Tasks Force mission.” A UK defense source asked if the deployment was linked to growing fears of a Russian invasion of Ukraine, replied “Yes and no.”
