Four armed Palestinians killed in Nablus firefight

A security operation for the arrest of wanted terrorists came under heavy gunfire and flying explosive devices while surrounding a house in the Nablus Casbah early Sunday. The mixed military-Border Police contingent were after suspects involved in a series of shooting incidents in the last two weeks, including an attack on pilgrims to the Joseph’s Tomb shrine in the town.  They were attacked upon reaching the scene in a civilian refrigeration truck and returned the fire. One of the suspects sought for fourth months was Ibrahim Nabulsi, a fugitive from a former terrorist attack. A large cache of weapons and ammo was was later found in the house.
