Four countries seek Security Council meeting over Iran’s missile tests
The United States, Germany, Britain and France have requested a UN Security Council meeting to discuss Iran's ballistic missile tests, reports said Tuesday. In a joint letter, the four countries said Tehran's recent launches of nuclear-capable missiles were "in defiance of" a 2015 resolution banning such actions. They also denounced threats against Israel in Tehran's statements following the launches and called on the council to discuss ways of responding to the tests.
