Four Israeli Arab lawmakers praise Labor’s Corbyn
As UK Labor leader Jeremy Corbyn fended of charges of tolerating anti-Semitism in his party, four Israeli Arab lawmakers sent a letter to the British Guardian newspaper on Monday praising him for “his longstanding solidarity with all oppressed people, including his unflinching support for the Palestinian people.” Corbyn faces a split in the Labor party on the charge of turning a blind eye to anti-Semitism and hobnobbing with Arab extremists and terrorist leaders. The letter was signed by Ahmad Tibi, deputy speaker of the Israeli parliament and three other members of the Joint Arab List party.
