Four Israeli soldiers injured by explosion in Lebanon

Lebanese sources report that the four Israeli soldiers were 150 meters inside Lebanese territory Wednesday when an explosion occurred at the Israeli-Lebanese border fence. The soldiers were moved to hospital in Nahariya – three of them are undergoing surgery and the four is in intensive care. There is no information about the cause of the explosion or what Israeli soldiers were doing on the Lebanese side of the border. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, asked about the incident while touring an IDF base in the south, commented only: “We shall continue to do what is necessary for Israel’s security.”
